Amanda Reis joined the firm’s litigation group in June 2023 after graduating from Roger Williams University School of Law. Originally from the Greater Boston area, Amanda relocated to Western Massachusetts to join Doherty, Wallace, Pillsbury & Murphy, P.C. She is admitted to the Bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Hampden County Bar Association.
While in law school, Amanda served as the Executive Notes & Comments Editor for the Roger Williams University Law Review. Her practical experience includes serving as a judicial extern for the Supreme Court of Rhode Island and as a Rule 3:03 student practitioner for the Public Defender Division of the Committee for Public Counsel Services.
Most of Amanda’s legal experience is in immigration law, both in individual and family-based immigration as well as business immigration. Prior to joining the firm, she assisted clients with filing asylum claims, appealing orders of removal, and obtaining nonimmigrant visas. As a litigation associate, she hopes to broaden her practice to encompass employment and family law related matters.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
