Anjali Shankar joined the firm in 2017 as an employment and litigation associate. Anjali focuses her practice on counseling employers on a range of issues, such as leave laws, wage and hour issues, discrimination complaints, and more. Anjali also represents clients in a wide variety of civil litigation matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Anjali worked at a law firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota, practicing employment law and commercial litigation. Subsequently, she was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Minnesota in the Solicitor General’s Division, focusing on civil litigation, employment law, torts, and constitutional law. While in law school, Anjali was a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Law moot court competition team and a member of the Law Review.
Anjali serves on the board of the New Lawyers Section of the Hampden County Bar Association. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking in summer months and skiing in winter months.
