Since joining the firm in 1977, Craig Brown has developed a broad business practice, with particular emphasis on business transactions, commercial real estate development, housing development, leasing, and commercial finance.
Craig has been involved in a number of the largest real estate development projects in Western Massachusetts, including representation of the Basketball Hall of Fame in connection with its Springfield riverfront project. He also has been actively involved in a substantial number of housing projects throughout Western Massachusetts.
For seven years, Craig was an adjunct faculty member at Western New England College School of Law, teaching commercial paper and business planning. He is a trustee of American International College and has served as a director of a number of other nonprofit organizations.
Craig provides pro bono counsel to various nonprofit corporations, including Springfield School Volunteers and the Springfield Urban League. He is past chair and currently serves on the board of MassHire Workforce Board of Hampden County. Craig is also past chair of U.S. Lacrosse, Inc., the sport’s national governing body.
