L. Alexandra Hogan joined Doherty, Wallace, Pillsbury & Murphy, P.C. in 2023 as of counsel. She provides services to a broad range of clients in matters involving general civil litigation, such as shareholder disputes, derivative claims, contract enforcement, employment claims, land disputes, commercial evictions, bankruptcy adversary proceedings, federal and state receiverships, will contests, fiduciary disputes, petitions for accounting and the appointment of guardians and conservators. Attorney Hogan practices general business law including formation, contract negotiations, leases, licensing, financing and real estate transactions.
Attorney Hogan worked full time as a paralegal while working to earn her Juris Doctorate. She graduated from Western New England School of Law in 2008 with cum laude honors. Before that, Attorney Hogan attended Bay Path University where she received a B.S. in legal studies with summa cum laude honors. She authored a student note which was published by the Western New England Law Review in 2008. Attorney Hogan was bestowed the Excellence in the Law Award for Up-and-Coming Lawyers in 2016, was named to the list of Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2011-2017 and received Business West’s 40 under Forty Award in 2013.
Attorney Hogan is actively involved in the community, presents on peer and judicial panels and has been a member of several boards and committees. She has been recognized for her legal talents and community services through receipt of numerous distinguished awards, legal publications and invitations to speak as a panelist.
