Barry Ryan joined the firm in 1985 and has a broad criminal and civil trial practice, including both plaintiff and defense matters.
Between college and law school, Barry played professional hockey for the Springfield Indians of the American Hockey League, and he remains active in recreational leagues and volunteer youth instructional programs.
Barry is also involved in Dartmouth alumni activities, and serves as an Ex-Officio Past President on the board of directors of the Hampden County Bar Association. He also engages in Pro Bono legal representation and serves on the Board of Directors of the Hampden County Lawyer For Justice. He is also a member of the Springfield Lodge of Elks and the East Longmeadow Knights of Columbus and is active in bar, and charitable activities. He also served on the campaign for Legal Aid Committee for Western Massachusetts Community Legal Aid and was a past honoree/ award recipient through the Western Massachusetts Volunteer Lawyers Service.
